The Story of a New Company
At the turn of the 21st century, .com gen-exers became overnight millionaires.
Lawyers, investment capital professionals, and just about anyone working
looked for a way to own a piece of the pie.
Marat Bacha, an immigrant from Lebanon, built his company, Webazaar, An Arab American Internet Company from scratch into one with real value. As the company grew into
one of the top e-business firms in the country, Marat turned to his closest friends to help him
manage the business. Little did he know his childhood friend, Davidson Shelby played by Brendan
Hines, would let envy and greed turn into orchestrating a hostile takeover.
Easily manipulated by the articulate
and seasoned Edgar, played by Ted Sutton (Signs), Davidson and the other trusted executives are about to unveil
their plan to Marat on the eve of Webazaar’s IPO. We discover Marat prepared for the attempted coup
but neither Marat or the audience is prepared for the culmination of anyone this Hostile.
